So around 1:30pm Lusaka mission 2022 volunteers met with Mr. Shepherd and after introducing ourselves he shared with us a long story about his troubled marriage and this afternoon when we met he was heading to a local police station in Chainda Avondale in Lusaka to meet with his estranged wife and desolve their troubled marriage as they were already separated. The mission volunteers initially prayed with Shepherd and he surrounded his life to Jesus amidst tears after narrating the sad story of his troubled marriage. 2 mission volunteers were sent by the mission team to try and help out with the discussion between the estranged couple and the police and by the grace of God their reconciliatory intervention efforts bore fruits and the couple together with the relatives came to Oasis of Love Avondale where we spent time praying with the family and at the very end Loveliness gave her life to Jesus and they reunited with the husband Shepherd. We encouraged them to come back tomorrow morning for more marital counselling and prayer with the senior pastor at Oasis of Love Avondale and they both gladly accepted to return for more counselling and prayer. [God] reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation.… “We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us” (2 Corinthians 5:18, 20). Glory be to God the most high. 🙏🏼👏🏽👏🏽
